SF is an international city. Lots of people from all over the world visit it. It is sobering to think this is the impression they’ll get of our country.
Exactly. I have (when I lived in the Bay Area) seen tourists harassed and yelled at and spit on by the vagrants in ‘The City’. I always made it a point to let them know that not every one is like that.....often times over a cup of coffee or some ice cream.
