I happened to be watching that last night just by chance as it came on. While I liked some of what he said especially about Jesus and sin, however he still was missing the point.
This is about if the officer did anything wrong or not, he did not, and until they can come out and just say it??
He would only go as far as saying that he was not there, and that was after his first reaction was anger, and he meant at the police officer.
Then he goes on to say he was offended at people dismissing the bad experiences of others...that`s because this was not the place for that, this is about a mans freedom, a innocent officers freedom.
I guess I am supposed to be grateful that he is a step above the people we see on TV, a big improvement absolutely, but with proof positive that the officer is 150% innocent it is still lacking.
Just saw this today and was not able to read his facebook post. Perhaps the post he wrote addressed the points mentioned in your post.
A step in the right direction (family, sin, etc), but as mentioned, it leaves out the bottom line issue of rule of law.
Did you read three months worth of grand jury evidence in less than 24 hours?
