ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – The violent death of a 32-year-old man beaten to death with a hammer by a group of teens sparked a spontaneous protest where demonstrators blocked traffic at Gravois and Itaska Sunday night in south St. Louis.
Zemir Begic, 32, was found unconscious with apparent injuries to his head, abdomen, face and mouth in the 4200 block of Itaska at 1:15 a.m. Police say Begic was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
"I want everybody to know I take your safety and everyone in the community's safety very seriously," said St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson. "I heard your message loud and clear. You want to make sure you are safe. I want to make sure you are safe and every neighborhood in our city."
Dotson also said the strain Ferguson has put on his department is great as officers have been working 12 hour shifts and no days off, but he assured the crowd the police will be here to protect them.
According to police, Begic was in his vehicle when “several juveniles” approached his car and began damaging it. When Begic exited his vehicle the teenagers yelled and struck him with hammers.
Following the assault, the teenagers fled the scene on foot. A 15 and 16-year-old were located a short time later and placed in the custody of juvenile authorities. Police are still searching for a third suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.

I think it’s just as much a waste, if not more so, that whites are victims, while the rhetoric regarding “hate crimes”, “privilege”, etc, is escalating against whites. I say more so, because white taxpayers are by far the majority of those pulling the load, while being made silent victims for their trouble. The black-on-white rape statistics, especially as opposed to the white-on-black rape statistics (practically non-existant) tell a story.

When the news media reliability speak in race code, readers can reliability fill in the blanks. And they learn to do that sooner or later. Young whites have to learn to break the code.
Whittle’s video is excellent. These statistics need to spread. There is black racist violence against whites. The Left, as usual is lying.
We should create the same statistics with black on Asian and black on Hispanic crime.
Didnt see it being reported on Fox News..Started watching at 10am so maybe I missed it if it appeared earlier during Out#Numbered..if the media REALLY cared about this awful story it would constantly be on but NO, guess white lives don’t matter..especially when the perps are black

The graphic doesn't indicate this. It indicates that black-on-white crimes are 5X the number of white-on-black crimes, as I discussed in my post.

Yes, this is what the 5X graphic expresses, but the expectation would be for the number of B on W crimes to equal the number of W on B crimes if encounters were random, regardless of the relative size of the populations, and the 5X figure could be modeled by a fraction of perpetrators 5X greater among the black population than among the white population, again regardless of the relative size of the populations.
So...they were unarmed.
