Like it or not it is free speech in action, and no way anyone should be punished for exercising their right to free speech. You can speak by not buying tickets but sanctions are a chill we don’t need.

Of course Brown did not have his hands in the air when he was shot.

‘...no way anyone should be punished for exercising their right to free speech.” Nonsense! Evidently you have swallowed the PC koolaid. The business to which these retarded freaks are aligned should have every right to set standards for conduct and punish those who blatantly violate those standards. I’m retired now for a few years, but every company I worked for would fire/punish someone who cussed the boss openly. One could be fired for ‘unbecoming conduct’, too.

The First Amendment protects from government sanction for expressing an opinion the government disapproves of. However your employers is free to terminate, fine or otherwise punish you for expressing an opinion it finds offensive.

They don’t own the NFL, so they don’t get to enjoy unrestricted speech when employed by the NFL.

No, it is not “free speech.” They were in uniform, on the clock. They were employees at work. They represent their employers and have no right to speak on controversial issues in these circumstances.
