On Dec. 9, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit will hear oral arguments in the case of Nojay v. Cuomo. At stake is nothing less than whether the Second Amendment grants substantive gun rights to American citizens, or is meaningless rhetoric that allows the government total control over what firearms citizens may or may not possess.

“Canadians, Italians, and Germans may own AR-15s (under significant licensing schemes), but New Yorkers – including those who live in counties where cattle outnumber humans – may not.”

Not true. You can own what they call assault weapons (AKs, AR15s, etc. but they have to be registered (but at a later time they will ban and confiscate them). I have also never heard that tubular mags could only be loaded with 7 rounds. Semi autos w tubular mags are not AW according to the SAFE act so the law does not apply.

Here’s what the 2nd amendment is..... it is not about hunting or guns. It is about our RIGHTS to shoot politicians that overreach on their powers in government.

It’s not about how many bullets or what kind of gun you can own.

It comes down to one thing. Our forefathers knew politicians couldn’t be trusted.

“At stake is nothing less than whether the Second Amendment grants substantive gun rights to American citizens,”

The 2nd Amendment does NOT “grant” anything.

Screw these people!
2A only acknowledges rights that we have as free men and women - and even those in between or who are too screwed up to know what they are.

The Constitution did not "grant", and New York cannot take away.

This will come as quite a surprise to Vermont, which is also governed by this Court.

The attitude of Cuomo, Bloomberg, et al. is, very simply, that if the ignorant yokels in red-state America refuse to give up their guns, then we’re going be the ones to force them to do it.

And they just might succeed.

No, they won't. They may succeed in making some stuff illegal, but they won't succeed in making us yokels give up anything.

It’s more likely that NY gun owners will sack the governor’s mansion and feed the Nazi Cuomo to the alligators than seeing a New York anti-gun law become the standard for nationwide gun confiscation.

The elites know that we have erected lampposts from sea to shining sea.

The Second Amendment doesn't "grant" anything.

I get my Natural Right to Keep and Bear Arms from the Creator.

Why isn't there a pay-per-view of someone slapping the teeth out of Commie Cuomo's lying feces-licking face?
