The President will threaten a veto. Why would he avoid the fight now, give the GOP an “open” govt where they can just shut down homeland sec in March?
The only positive thing about this plan is that Obama will threaten a veto, and then the House is that much closer to either a shutdown, or a CR for everything until March (no lame duck CR).
Right. Their options are extremely limited with control of only the House at this time.
