Downtown Detroit doesn’t get all the power from one place. You can have 3 buildings in a row without power, then 2 with power followed by another without. The same set of buildings lost power last summer due to a substation fire. This one is the municipal power service.

Comerica park, Ford Field buy their power from DTE and have their own substations.

That is what I was thinking. Known as deferred maintenance.

I like the one above that we have to wait for the wind to pick up speed again. Hahahahaha
