Former President Bush has spoken at length about his close ties to former President Bill Clinton, at times calling him his "brother from another mother."

CNN's Candy Crowley asked Bush during an interview published Friday where that leaves Hillary Clinton: "My sister-in-law!" the president responded light-heartedly.

Not surprised. They all belong to the same club.

No, no no. One has an (R) By their name and one has a (D) by their name. Any fool can see the difference.

Not asking you to.

If anything, this strikes me as more of a snarky frat-boy comment from Bush than anything either sophisticated or brilliant.

GW actual thinks that the Clintons like him.

The mystery here, is that you think they don't.

14 The close relationship between the Bushes and Bill is well known. But there’s hardly ever anything out there about Hillary being included. The last I remember hearing about was an event months ago where she sat far back in the audience. ...

9/10/2013 - Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Jeffrey Rosen, president and CEO of the National Constitution Center, listen as former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush speaks before the presentation of the 2013 Liberty Medal to her in Philadelphia, PA.

And I could definitely see Bush delivering it for precisely that effect.

Are we really going back to "The Super Secret, Super Genius Plan" days?

>When asked about a potential Jeb Bush versus Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign, the former president conceded they would both be formidable candidates but insisted his brother — his real brother — would win.<

Not so fast.

I think 41 is, psychologically, fulfilling the father role in Bill’s life that he’s always craved but lacked. I think he and 43 are friends and get along pretty well.

I think Hillary despises the Bushes (perhaps even more than she despises Bill). She’s the ideological nutjob of the pair and the Bushes represent the upper class country club establishment that her Alinsky-wired soul loathes.

Which is, again, why this comment is so funny. I bet Huma has even had to dodge an ashtray or tumbler or two over it.

The Clintons like GW in the same way a con artist likes a dupe.

I doubt GW understands that.

27 Regan's biggest blunder, but I don't think he had much choice.

So true. I was proud in the day to vote for RWR (2X) and GHWB (2X). Recently was reminded that GHWB purged RWR's entire staff from his incoming administration. Looking back now, it is crystal clear that the Bush dynasty hastened the demise of the U.S.A. A pox on their entire house. Should Jeb prevail in the 2016 primary, I will write in 3rd party. It won't matter anymore. Not enough difference between Jeb/Common-Core/Amnesty and the communist Hillary.

Somebody in the Clintons has something on the Bushes they don’t want ever to be made public...

How GWB can relate to Hildabeast is beyond comprehension....

Hillary and Bill spend less time together than most divorced couples, let alone married ones. Some enterprising conservative journalist ought to see how many days out of the year Bill and Hill are under the same roof. I’m guessing their respective staffs do everything possible to keep them away from each other, unless it’s absolutely necessary.

If you believe the tabloids—and they’re more accurate than the MSM these days—the secret service has created an “early warning system” so Bill can send his girl friend on her way before Hillary arrives in Chappaqua. Those visits are infrequent, at best. The New York mansion (and his apartment at the presidential library/massage parlor in Arkansas) are Bill’s primary haunts. Hillary, the same one who “couldn’t get a mortgage” a few years ago, has 5,000 square foot house in D.C. where she entertains Huma and the girls.

Truth be told, I’d bet Bill has paid more visits to the Bush presidential centers than he has to his own “house” in D.C.

The question is, does Bill send The Energizer away because he’s afraid that Hillary will go nuclear and start destroying all that nice furniture they looted from the White House on their way out ..., or that she’ll try to cut in on his action?

Ba-dum-dum.

I’ll bet they trade tips on commodities trading strategies. Dubya knows oil futures, while Hillary’s an ace at cattle futures.
