Shia areas of Iraq are fighting to keep ISIS out. While they have individuals supporting them, the greater Shia population does not. Same in Syria.

ISIS = Sunni

Shias = infidel enemies.

Alawites (Syria) = infidel enemies

Don't worry if you are confused. ALL muslims consider Christians and the West as infidels too so they all look the same to you.

My mistake, But the same is said of the Sunni areas.

I used to live in that part of the world. And a far less enjoyable place than Iraq or Syria; I lived in Yemen.
