I’m waiting for more information on Mike Pence. He was great as a US Rep but didn’t have leadership experience, similar to what happened to Reagan. Reagan went on to become governor of CA and Pence did the same thing in IN. My understanding is Pence has done well so the rest will be what we learn about him this next year.

If you all haven’t seen these (I’ve actually watched both several times over the past few days), here are links to two awesome videos of the USAF Band Holiday Flash Mob at the National Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian. IMHO very inspiring. You may have seen the one from last year, but it’s fun to watch again and the one for this year is even better. Great views of the museum, too. Go USAF! (I like all the military, but I’m an AF brat, so they’re #1 for me :-).

Yes but also GBP170.00 per month to rent storage for his furniture and fishing equipment we need to sort this out in the next 2 or 3 months as it draining money. We rented the unit because not knowing how long dad would be with us we thought we would need the extra furniture but in retrospect it would have been more economical to have sold what we could and stored the fishing gear only possibly in a rented garage.

Rush made all of the salient points necessary at this time in history. Wallace teed him up nicely.

Mike Rogers did the country a real disservice with his ‘Benghazi Report’ and the way he handled the issue on his committee. Disgusting.

That song itself seemed to be professionally done even with the garageband and fake cowboy hats. It was produced by the Hillary 2016 PAC and I’m sure there will be a few who enjoy it and will like it. I also believe Hilary’s PAC is actively working the voters to gin up enthusiasm for her. If it fails it will be one more ill conceived attempt to promote her.

Do you think this is a good omen for 2016...

Yes, I do. However, two years is several lifespans in political America. Who knows where we'll be then?

Your great Prime Minister (and half American if I may add) Winston Churchill called December 7th, 1941, the greatest day in the War for him, because he knew that with America in it, both Nazism and Imperial Japan would be defeated. So think of the world BEFORE that date and then after, and how much changed in a couple of hours!

Still, the democrats are and have been too far Left, and the country that is the USA is still primarily conservative, and the inherit failures of the Left, from policy to actual operations, were bound to present themselves and people would take notice.

The Right has also had bad moments, and I'm not sure they've learned their lesson... Many here bring up the point that it is not the Right missing the mark, so to speak, but rather the Republicans in Name Only.

When they had all three branches under George W. Bush they spent and governed too much like democrats and the "Enemedia" piled on the anti-war bandwagon that the democrats hitched themselves to when things got tough, so then the people got tired of them and threw them out, but the replacements (Obama, Reid and Pelosi) where far, far worse!

So what is next? I fear Boehner and McConnell will give us the same old song and dance and then all bets are OFF.
