... What most people don’t know is that the most common statement/phrase uttered by perps that are being restrained is “I can’t breath.” So when Eric Garner uttered those same words ...<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Exactly, and I don't doubt for a minute that due to his size and ailments he was extremely uncomfortable. Being uncomfortable is very predictable if one resists being arrested, so one would think he'd go out of his way to be cooperative. After 31 times, you'd think he'd get the routine memorized. And yes, I recall arrestees who complained they couldn't breathe the minute cuffs were started to be applied, even while standing, not an uncommon utterance.

Anybody who resists arrest is an idiot even if its a wrongful arrest. Its a fight you aren’t going to win in the street but you can win in the courts.

More often than not, its not even an arrest. Often police will detain people on the scene to secure the situation while things are sorted out. I’ve had a cop’s gun in my face and been in handcuffs a couple of times only to walk free a few minutes later. I’ve even spent the better part of a day in jail only to have a cop drive me home without charges later that afternoon.

I’ve had plenty of opportunities to get my butt kicked by police and its never happened.
