Consider the computer revolution using binary logic and memory.

Now consider what would be possible with Trinary Logic once it can be implemented in hardware.

One byte (28 or 8 Bits) can have 256 different values. One Tryte (39 or 9 Trits) can have 19,683 different values. (Some have defined a Tryte as 36 for 729)

On the one hand, that sounds like a good idea.

On the other hand, it might be very difficult to implement.
