Yes, long-life on FR doesn't always seem to equate to strong Conservative values does it?

Probably a "fiscal only" conservative I guess.

They don't seem to understand that, for their own good, they should stay off Social Conservative threads with their anti-Social Conservative comments, if they want to avoid the Zot.

Nor do they understand that conservatism only works when all three points of conservatism (social, fiscal, and strong defense/foreign policy) are implemented. It's just that simple.

I always laugh when I hear someone say that they are a "Goldwater conservative." Barry Goldwater was the GOP's McGovern and Mondale and you will NEVER hear a Democrat refer to themselves as a "Mondale liberal." Goldwater was an absolute failure (and he was pro-abortion), Reagan was the real conservative.
