The United States is so "repressive" that Professor Angeletti and his ilk are free to express their hatred towards their country as loudly, publicly, and frequently as they like. Does he really think he could get away with composing a similar "anti-pledge" parody in China?
I used the “America, love it or leave it” argument back in the 70s. The response was “No! America, love it and make it better”.
