I don’t think it is 80% bad, 20% good. Maybe it is 5% bad, 95% good. But 5% is a large number.

Maybe it is 5% bad, 95% goodBlacks at 12.6% of the general population constitute 60+% of the prison population. According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, one in three black men can expect to go to prison in their lifetime.

I’d guess closer to 5% bad, 50% good and 45% willing to look the other way for a cut of the loot.

About 50% of black males 15 yrs and older are in jail, on probation or parole, awaiting trial or sentencing or have a felony criminal record.
About the same percentage graduate from high school.

Well, something like a third of all black men are either in prison, awaiting trial or on parole/probation, so I’m going with that, lacking other data.

I dont think it is 80% bad, 20% good. Maybe it is 5% bad, 95% good. But 5% is a large number. I wish you were right. Nationwide, 32% of black males age 20-29 are in prison, on probation, or on parole [Doesn't count juvenile offenses or convicted felons who are out of prison and no longer on parole]. In many cities, such as Baltimore, it is over 50% (and in other areas, particularly suburbs and rural it is far less). Among black women, below 5% are under criminals justice supervision, less than one sixth the rate for black men. Over all age groups, it's still well above 5% for black men.
