What a ridiculous waste it would be to have Cruz in the VP slot. If he isn’t the Presidential nominee I’ll write him in.
Cruz would never take a VP slot.
I think a conservative governor is generally better than a conservative senator. Given being an executive officer is different than a legislator in terms of getting things done, I’d rather have a guy who has a known good track record as an executive leader. Historically senators have been more sub-par presidents than those that were governors. Barack Obama for example. Lyndon Johnson is another.
