Gruber Grilled by Rep Lummis: Lost Her Husband (Obamacare enrollee/ not covered)
https://www.youtube.com ^ | Dec 9, 2014

Posted on 12/09/2014 7:29:54 PM PST by Whenifhow

Cynthia Lummis spoke for the people today who are being harmed by Obamacare. Below is a rough paraphrased account of her Q & A with Gruber and Tavenner.

Cynthia Lummis is on Obamacare, as was her husband.

When they filed claims then told we were not covered on Obamacare.

Her husband having chest pains - he didn’t have all the tests advised to have - so my husband had a massive heart attack

In a conversation with doctor, Rep Lummis found that he chose not to have one test that was recommended and the timing coincides with time we were told not covered.

I am telling you during the time he was having tests, he was told we were not covered.

There may be a decline in participation [to Ms Tavenner]

There have been so many glitches in Obamacare that have real life consequences.

Get over your damn glibness!!

What the video below does not show is the reaction by those in the hearing.

Marilyn Tavenner wanted to give condolences to her and Issa would not allow it which freepers thought was great because Tavenner did not deserve the right to give condolences based on her testimony.

1949-2014

Al Wiederspahn died peacefully in his sleep of a heart attack on October 24, 2014. He was 65 years old.

A ‘49 blizzard baby, Alvin L. was born January 18 in Cheyenne, Wyo. to J. Arling and Edvina Wiederspahn. He graduated from Cheyenne Central High School, from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in zoology and from the University of Denver College of Law.

He began the practice of law with longtime Cheyenne attorney George Guy, and later practiced with Art Kline, two distinguished mentors.

He was first elected to the Wyoming legislature in 1978, serving 10 years in the Wyoming House and Senate.

During his legislative service he met and married fellow Laramie County legislator, Cynthia M. Lummis. Al and Cynthia welcomed their only child, Annaliese, in 1985.

In addition to his law practice, Al never met an old building he didn’t want to fix up. That included, but was not limited to, the Grier building and the Plains Hotel in Cheyenne, Wyo.

Alvin was an avid reader whose curiosity about the world drove him to pursue myriad interests. He served on the board of advisors to the National Trust for Historic Preservation and as the first Chairman of the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority. He was a former president of the Laramie County ARC and a COMEA shelter board member.

Alvin believed in the potential of all young people, leading him to volunteer as Laramie County’s Juvenile Drug Court judge and with Youth Alternatives.

A dedicated conservationist and fly-fisherman, Al was a former Chairman of the Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust, an organization that he remained very involved in up to his death.

Alvin was a devout Christian and a longtime elder at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cheyenne.

Alvin was preceded in death by his father, J. Arling Wiederspahn, and his mother, Edvina Wiederspahn. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Lummis, his daughter, Annaliese Wiederspahn, and his sister, Janet Haught, all of Cheyenne, Wyo.

This was a sad thing to watch. She was able to deliver her speech without breaking down. Gruber, probably still doesn’t get what ‘all the fuss’ is about. Although he knows the Dems who write his checks are mad at him, and he must walk back certain comments to make them ‘un-mad’.

This is just an example of the tip of the iceberg that is the horror story called Obamacare. It continues to be exposed as the Marxist takeover scam that it always has been — nothing about healthcare really.

And Congress continues to stagnate while Obama runs his lameduck scorched earth campaign.

It’s clear that Obamacare is a disaster and it is only going to get worse. The lines are only going to get longer and the treatments/medications more heavily rationed. On top of that, Barry’s top consultant, Jon Gruber, has already admitted that it was a fraud from the start. It’s time that this monstrosity was repealed.

The zero care supporters should get it back in spades. I support late term abortions for them all.

She was a powerful witness for the horrors of Obamacare.

There was a person who was an added witness at the last minute in the hearing.

When the hearing began a democrat, Matt Cartwright, wanted Issa to accept Goldman as an additional witness, Issa declined. But when Cummings entered the hearing late, he somehow got Issa to add him to the witness list, as an advocate for the wonders of Obamacare.

Guess who that is Pajama Boy! Seriously! Ari Goldman

Health Link, with the help of a free broker.

I saw the video tonight on Megyn’s show..it was heartbreaking to hear this woman’s story, I wasn’t familiar with Rep Lummis before this, she was able to keep her composure much more than I would have been able to..and just knowing that the leftist schmucks want what happened to her husband to happen to us all makes me sick..I can bet that Gruber could have cared less about what happened to her husband..leftists don’t want people over the age of 65 to live anyway..I wish for leftists what they wish for us everyday

The banality of evil. Hannah Arendt said it about Eichmann, but it’s just as true about Gruber.

Gowdy hammered the guy, and Gruber just said, “I said inappropriate things to make myself seem smart.” Said it about a million times. That’s his best defense. That’s his go-to response for every damn question.

Heck of a magic shield ya got there Bunky.

In the video below Rep Massie begins by asking about ethics training Gruber had. Then begins to ask about Gruber’s paper on abortion and “positive selection”.

More Q & A reveals Gruber is a eugenicist.

That’s was chilling. Thanks.

These people really are right out of the Third Reich. All the useless eaters, the young and the old, the poor and the sick should just be allowed to die so that life can be good for the Ivy League crowd. They really don’t hide it much.

I just watched Goldman’s testimony. What a pantywaist — I wanted to reach out and wring his scrawny leftist neck. He got a college degree, worked in social service (or something) and is now a waiter at age 33, pursuing his dream. He claimed ACA cut his health care premiums in half and he was covered for his pre-existing conditions. Issa asked him if he received a subsidy and he said “no.”

Right. Doctors bailing out all over the country; nobody can keep his or her doctor; premiums skyrocketing; deductibles skyrocketing; health care costs going up faster than every before; all passed under cover of darkness after innumerable kickbacks to dirty Senators; “insuring” millions of new enrollees. And he’s saving 50%. None of that squares with every bit of anecdotal evidence offered over the past couple years.

The radical extreme leftists on the committee, Goldman, Tavenner — it’s just sickening watching any of them.

“I said inappropriate things to make myself seem smart.” — he was just saying precisely what his lawyer told him to say. I was very surprised to see he did NOT have his lawyer by his side whispering in his ear.

This was so reminiscent of the communist hearings in the late 40s and early 50s where all the Commies were lawyered up and pleading the Fifth.

I was surprised he simply didn’t take the Commie / Lerner defense and plead the Fifth.

Massie was great. What a wonderful Rep. Perfect complement to Gowdy.

Issa did a good job picking individuals to drive key points home.

Her grilling was riveting, but I also enjoyed Trey Gowdy and surprisingly ‘rat Rep Lynch from Massachusetts, who is a steelworkers union representative and talked about how he has negotiated contracts with employers in the past - says they were usually willing to give big increases in health benefits as part of new contracts because those benefits, being tax free, cost the employers less than equivalent wage increases - now because of Obamacare and the Cadillac tax on expensive health plans, many employers will be paying more for the coverage -especially those with more than fifty employees who will be hit with the tax, putting them at an unfair position relative to those who have less than fifty workers and won’t pay - Goober had no clever comeback for him....

I don’t get out much with any people but those I work with. I did yesterday. It was a meeting of people who live and work. Just good common folk. LIke some churches.

The people were mostly very kind and considerate of one another. Commiserating was more like it. They seemed more like fellow hostages than free citizens. Beat down, fatalistic.

This is just what the regime wants.
