With just a Continuing Resolution til Feb 2015 we avoid a shutdown and can go nuclear in the Senate to pass real budget cuts and limitations on immigration, obamacare, IRS, EPA, Education, etc. and then a veto is Obummer’s gubmint shutdown.

Wonder if the major talk show hosts could push to overwhelm the Capitol switchboard and Congress with a demand for a short term CR?

Aren’t all bills to originate in the House? Is this a reconciliation that the House must past because the senate clarified an earlier House bill.

I do not think it will pass as more people are getting pissed. Thursday is D-Day. Dead end Day.

Watch what happens to Obama if this bill does not pass - He goes ballistic - people otherwise not harmed with a government shutdown - are harmed. That is the type of person Obama is shared misery by those whom can least afford it - senior citizens (Republican Voters), Disabled - Social Security, Military Pensions.

More riots in the streets - orchestrated by Obama and Holder.

No, the good benefit from good.

There is no such thing as “less evil”.

There won’t be anything to defund come January. This monstrosity funds the government until Sep 30, 2015. Of course if they don’t have to worry about funding the government, they have more time to take away our freedoms.

Republicans “shut down” the government, but somehow managed to pick up NINE Senate seats + House gains. They devastated
Nasty Pelosi’s Democrats.
Perhaps shutdown isn’t a dirty word after all.

Actually, with all due respect, the American people devastated Nazi P. Lousy’s Demoncrats.

The G0P didn’t do anything at all, as usual.

I'm glad to hear Pelousy is seeking concessions.

Maybe it will lead to this turkey of a “Cromnibus” unraveling completely.

And if that, in turn, leads to Boehner breaking down into uncontrollable sobs it will make my day.

I think it’s too bad that some Tea Partiers would rather pout than govern.

But LEADERS, even GOP Leaders, don’t have the luxury of throwing temper tantrums when they don’t get every single thing they want.

Speaker Boehner has offered a budget bill to the House that, among other benefits, clips the budgets of the IRS and EPA.

“Not enough!” shout the Tea Partiers, and “We won’t support you!”

As those Tea Partiers “peel away”, Nancy Pelosi says to the GOP’s leaders, “Let ME help you govern, just restore the budgets for...”

So what has just happened?

The Hard Right has just EMPOWERED the Hard Left!

It’s enough to make you wonder why the GOP is called “the smart party”.

We can dominate the narrative and the main stream media will have to pay attention and report

Let's see in January 2017 how that plan went. My prediction: the democrats continue to control the agenda throughout the entire year, Republicans cave hoping for good press (and because they don't really want to fight this stuff, they support it secretly) and the press tears them up anyway.

Tea Party/Conservatives voted GOP so they would govern like small govt Constitutional Conservatives. We do not vote GOP so they can govern likeobama.

Why the hell not?
It's a very effective tactic in today's really really dumb voter political climate, with total ignorance of things financial, like our ever increasing national debt.

It work flawlessly for the 'Rats.

Haven't you ever read The Art of Political War by David Horowitz?
