It takes quite a bit of nerve to toss out a blatant lie "to the point that you would sacrifice your family" while chastizing someone for their supposed lack of moral compass, doesn't it?

What the CIA actually said:
"Agency officers used interrogation techniques that had not been authorized, were abhorrent, and rightly should be repudiated by all."
"...we simply failed to live up to the standards that we set for ourselves and that the American people expect of us."
"We have not concluded that it was the use of EITs within that program that allowed us to obtain useful information from detainees subjected to them."
"Irrespective of the role EITs might play in a detainees provision of useful information, I believe effective non-coercive methods are available to elicit such informationmethods that do not have a counterproductive impact on our national security and on our international standing."

That ends any support he had from me!

I see you've devolved to the "I know you are, but what am I?" stage with your trolling.
Go hump someone else's leg for a while, huh?

That’s twice you’ve claimed to be done with posting to me, yet here you are, still.
One can only hope your stated intentions of remaining pure to your libertarian ideals even if your loved ones were at stake would be as weak, should the unfortunate occasion arise.

Imagine having to explain to remaining family loved ones after one as a hostage was slaughtered in captivity. “Well, guys I had the hostage takers partner captured, tied up in a chair. I knew our loved one had 24 hours left to live and was being TORTURED by his captor but I just could not bring myself to inflict some pain on the dirt bag I had in my hands. So I really am sorry our loved one was slaughtered but you understand......I’m such as pussy that I just couldn’t hurt the guy that had the info to free our loved one. You all understand don’t you? We don’t torture period”!..........................

And I note that rather than backing up your calculated lies you simply chose to restate them. Congratulations on your impeccable consistency.

Nice try, but a simple keyword search ("CIA") done on FR's search engine will pull up several results which, despite the politically correct posturing done by Brennan, support my argument.
One article, posted yesterday, contained this:
"At the heart of Brennan's remarks was an exquisitely nuanced argument: That while today's CIA takes no position on whether the brutal interrogation tactics themselves led detainees to cooperate, there is no doubt that detainees subjected to the treatment offered "useful and valuable" information afterward".

"And I note that rather than backing up your calculated lies " Mmm-hmm. You have a habit of denying your own posts as though they never existed. I've seen you try to pull this on other threads.
It won't wash here anymore than it has before.
You made your statements. Be man enough to own them.

Double down.
Link the post where I said I would sacrifice my family.
To: CatherineofAragon
I linked to what the CIA had to say. No need to filter it through FR.
To: Hugh the Scot
Can’t/won’t own it, then?
Your choice, weasel.

"I linked to what the CIA had to say. No need to filter it through FR." In what way would FR "filter" it? Are you implying dishonesty on the part of the site or its members?
FYI, weasel, the quote came from the AP.

Yes! You have seen me "pull this before", haven't you? it's what I do every time someone gets on this forum and lies about a position they allege I've taken.
I call them on it.
And your response has been the same as well. "throw rocks and run away".
Pathetic sock puppet.
To: CatherineofAragon
"Are you implying dishonesty on the part of the site or its members?"
No, I am plainly stating that you are dishonest, as is the Associated Press.
And clearly an idiot if you managed to read an insult to Free Republic into that.
