MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. – Officials in Robertson and Sumner Counties are searching for a car that could be carrying the body of a deceased child.
Officials with the Millersville Police Department said an officer pulled over a vehicle on Interstate 65 South around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday because it had a temporary tag that was difficult to read.
Three men were inside the vehicle. A man claiming to be from Saudi Arabia told the officer they were traveling from Bowling Green, Kentucky to Franklin to bury a child in accordance with their Islamic faith.

Not wanting to disrupt a religious ceremony, the officer allowed them to leave.

As has been mentioned several times, telling the police you have a dead body in your trunk should be more than enough probable cause.

I almost said that but it would mean they have to have friends close by who would loan them a car or they'd have to steal one. It didn't sound like they were in an area where they know anyone. And stealing one would have the cops after them even hotter.
But it's still quite possible.
Tennessee has been rotten with Islam and Saudi cash for a decade now. Holder & Co. sued to get a mega-mosque built. It is a Mohammedan cesspool down there now.
The fact the vehicle had temporary tags tells me the cop is incompetent.

We’re still steamed about that monstrous mosque in Murfreesboro. That was a rotten deal.
We also have Catholic Charities in Nashville dragging “refugees” to TN and depositing them across the state. A lot of us are very unhappy about it but don’t know how to stop it.
Yeah, it’s become a cesspool.
EVERYTHING about this tells us all that officer is incompetent.
I hope there wasn’t anything worse than a dead body in that trunk so no one suffers dire consequences from his incompetence. But I have a bad feeling about it.

He needs to be fired, and the people in his town need to demand his resignation.
If I made a mistake like that, and something bad did happen, I would pull Bud Dwyer and ask for forgiveness, and tell everyone watching it is their duty to FIGHT political correctness.

It's certainly more than enough to press that PTT button on the radio, call his supervisor, and request instructions.
As others have already mentioned, it's extremely likely that only a licensed mortician is allowed to transport bodies, and only in proper containers, and only with proper paperwork, and only in specialized vehicles.

I’d say there’s a chance the officer will lose his job. He’ll be pulled off the streets, at the least. I imagine there’ll be a LOT of phone calls to the police chief tomorrow, if they haven’t already started.
I’m anxiously waiting for the 4:00 early news to find out if they found those guys or not. I hope they did, just in case they had ill intent. There’s no telling what was in that trunk. And there’s no telling where they went. I’ve found no listings of mosques in Franklin and that’s where they said they were going.
