The point's not that they are allying. The point's that it's finally now being openly reported in the MSM. Boner must be squirming, particularly after all the grandiose mid-term promises of "stopping Obama."

Oh, Boner & Obama will probably get their way. But Boner is squirming right now. That's at least some satisfaction. And all we're going to get. So at least enjoy that much.

I was thinking the same thing. Most of what is going on is for show. Both side will emphasize the shutdown and make a big thing of a compromise in order to make it look like a breakthrough.

Ask for 50% more than what you want and then settle for 50% less and they still both get what they intended.

It never changes.
