“Actually, this has slipped off the news cycle now. It is the CIA’s turn in the barrel....”

You’re right! And there must have been a cure for Ebola I didn’t hear about!

I'll refer you to Rodney King....

Worse. Most people still don't know that there was a second black male in the car with Rodney King. Apparently that information didn't fit the narrative that the Left Stream Media was pushing.

When King's vehicle was finally stopped, the (2nd black male) passenger exited the vehicle, put his hands up, was cuffed, put in the police cruiser and taken downtown. No problem.

Now, if everyone had known that, it really would have Put the whole scene is a different light.

Editing. It's all about editing.

I'm also disappointed that so many people at Free Republic think his “crime” was insignificant.

This was a huge Black man selling untaxed cigarettes right outside of a store that plays by the rules and sells only taxed cigarettes.

So, Bay Beauty Supply sells cigarettes?

If you owned that store, if your family's income depended on that store, would you feel that was an insignificant crime?

Well, maybe if he was selling "loosie" packs of beauty shampoo & conditioner. Or wigs. LOL! :)

Oh, BTW - the manager of the beauty shop kind of says he DIDN'T call the cops:

[Rodney Lee] said he was threatened after the Garner video emerged because it was reported that he called the cops.

"I'm Asian, working in a beauty supply shop and it happened to a black guy so people just assumed I called the police, which I didn't," he said.

Sounds to me like the cops made up a story about "loosies" [@ Eagles6: "lied"] to get their own @sses off the hook, then threw this business manager to the wolves...

terycarl wrote: realism is so much more difficult when you put on your discriminatory glasses through which you view the world....The police were indeed called to the scene by shop owners and the shop owners never denied that.

Your comment about realism: Indeed.

“...unless you happened to watch the full two minutes version...”

The insidious efforts of the revolutionary media to create strife are amazing in that they’re so effective.

(One wonders what Herr Goebbles would say if he were here.)

IMHO

dear kiry,

It is obvioous that you are not yet old enough to know what transpired, before the year 1997.

I did NOT write a sarcastic anything. I have over 30 years life experience the TRI-STATE region, and you do not.

Your comment, and i quote:
“ It is to laugh.

Nice bit of sarcasm! LOL! :)”

dear booger,

my response is simple:

YOU make the accusation. YOU prove it!
Where is the information to back up what you had written?
Who was it that actually said, or wrote that?
How did they ‘not’ do that?
When, and what point, did they do the ‘violation’?
What were ‘they’ doing just before the ‘violation’?
Why did ‘they’ enact the ‘violation’?

I'm someone not naive enough to believe that the same NYPD that sodomized Abner Louima with a broomhandle, pump 41 rounds into Amadou Diallo, and offed an unarmed Sean Bell (costing the NY taxpeasants a cool $3.25 million) wouldn’t do such a stupid and ignorant thing as pick a fight over non-existent "loosies".

You, of course, are that naive, as both your posts to me attest...

Officer Pantaleo explained that he did not apply a “chokehold” to Garner. Rather, he applied a move that he learned in the police academy, a move designed to “tip the person [being arrested or restrained] so that they lose their balance and go to the ground.”

Here you can see the "not a chokehold" wrapped around Mr. Garner's throat.

“Where is the information to back up what you had written?”

Well, I can certainly point you to that information, but not when you start off your post with childish insults. Try again like an adult and I’ll give you what you’re looking for.

That’s not true. All police selectively enforce laws. If they were required to cite or arrest everyone they saw jaywalking, spitting on the sidewalk, or riding a bicycle without a license plate, they would never have any time to pursue real criminals.

Are bicycles in NYC required to have license plates?

Eric was forty-four years old. If you look at his lifestyle and weight...I seriously doubt that he would have made it past his mid-50’s. Sooner or later, would be the correct phrase to use. The thing which would be interesting to read...is the toxicology report. I’ll bet that he had a significant amount of THC in his blood, and he was fairly doped up when he reacted to the cops.

IF you notice...there is a autopsy report that was made public. The toxicology report? Nothing, as far as I can see. This makes you wonder....just how doped up was the guy?

I don’t know. Some jurisidictions do, some don’t, but it’s rarely enforced either way.
