Great analysis! A really interesting way to look at it.

As for NC, we "swang" in 2008 for Obama and Hagan, but it's been all red since. Not to say it can't swing again (Obama did get 48% in 2012), and Burr is up in 2016.

The point is that NC is a State for which the Republican Party must actively contend. Holders of statewide offices in those States as well as States with large Hispanic populations face exculpatory political pressures unlike more secure States.

For example, that both Senators from Wyoming of all places would vote for this is mind boggling. Some of the other RINOS are already in our sites, but Thune? Why? It's those individuals with no excuse upon whom we must focus our efforts to replace them.

Now I see better what you mean, that in NC (and other states) the Repubs have to actively contend, as for example Thom Tillis, who had a tough fight against Kay Hagan, in contrast to safe red states.

I like your tactical focus. I tend to be too much in the Mark Levin "We're doomed" school.

It's about where we put our money. Consider Wyoming, which next has a Senatorial election in 2018. Wyoming is a very cheap media buy. If we started banking money now for a conservative there with the announcement that we are doing it because of Barrasso's vote to fund amnesty, don't you think it would have an immediate effect on his behavior?

Call it the Eric Cantor Memorial Conservatives Fund. :-)

Great name! And like you say, in any event it could have a salutary effect on their behavior.

Well written! No way can I disagree with anything you say.

This adolescent that erroneously and illegally sits in our Oval Office is akin to a 5-year old flying a 747 solo. He never had a father figure teaching him respect and responsibility, so he has none. He throws childish temper tantrums off camera.

Well, as Alexis de Tocqueville said, "America, you get the government you deserve." We have a seriously, if not mortally, ill electorate that continues to elect all this crap. I'm sure you know what Jefferson said, "The Tree of Liberty must be nourished from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

I'm not advocating any kind of violence. I'm just putting up some quotes and musings. A few years ago, I read a post on here that went like this:
What would the Founders say if they saw what was going on in America today? "Where's my musket!"

Yea, pretty sad when Americans have to follow statements with the above for fear their gubbamint may retaliate against them for speaking their mind.

And it follows that folks providing disclaimers (as do I) are keenly aware that agents routinely monitor sites for posts they perceive as threatening. Welcome to 1984.

So, this is for their eyes. Do you have relatives that are concerned for the republic? Are you concerned about the rampant corruption in D.C., or do you work to tighten control over your countrymen? Usurping the constitution bother you? Doing your job dutifully supersede the national security of our nation?

I hope you love our nation as much as those on FR. Over and out, roger wilko, Charlie, alpha, banana. lol

I forgot to mention in previous posts that I have read somewhere that there has been a Supreme Court ruling on a case of natural born citizenship back some hundred or more years ago, but I don't remember any specifics and I have not done a search.

But as far as Ted Cruz goes, it may not matter anymore. I intensely fear that jeb bush is going to be the R candidate in 2016. The establishment and money are on either him, christie or romney and then we will get the CRAT, whether hillary, warren or some other piece of tyrannical steaming pile of crap.

Another thought that came to mind after I posted. I did a study on the NDAA that the arrogant, dictatorial, narcisist monster signed from his palace in Hawaii on, I believe, December 31, 2011, or 2012, I forgot which year. It had to do with Sections 1032 and 1031, in that order. The extremely short version of the result of my study is that Section 1032 and 1031 (in that order) ordered the military to hold indefinitely even American citizens for supporting al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations, or anyone who has committed a belligerent act. Who defines a belligerent act? Hmmmmm.

Bingo! Patriot act and the NDAA have done more than anything in American history to erode liberties and freedom. This was under both dem and pub admins/congresses.

IRS targeting, NSA spying on Americans phone/internet activity and debt/CC records. Pat us down, yet let some rag head in full muzzie garb pass right on through security.

Go out and google Congressman reports being search at airport and muslim allowed to pass unfettered. Torques me to no end.
