Interesting ethnic map but perhaps misleading. They show a Jewish area in eastern Siberia where Stalin set aside an area for a Jewish autonomous oblast or whatever its title was, but I think it never had more than 1 or 2% of its population Jewish and that has probably declined over the years. For some reason a remote barren bit of eastern Siberia never attracted a lot of immigrants.
