The young woman who introduced Jackie Coakley to journalist Sabrina Rubin Erdely used Jackies story to push a federal law eroding due process for men on college campuses.
Emily Renda, a 2011 sociology major who wrote on Title IX and the campus rape myth for her college thesis, testified before a U.S. senate panel earlier this year. Heres what she said in June.

I happened to watch a Senate hearing on this issue on C-Span a few weeks ago. I dont know if it was the same one on the links provided in this thread.
There were three activist ‘rape survivor’ witnesses—two women and one male—requesting more Federal regulation to a mostly liberal Dem audience. I think Lamar Alexander was the only Rep representing sanity.
One interesting thing that came out. All of them had found jobs with their respective colleges as staff working with the new regulations and programs that the colleges were being required to do under Title IX.
