The liberal media JUST WILL NOT STOP with this f’ing crap! Low oil prices are a gift from God that is a wonderful blessing for AMERICA at the expense of towel head terrorists, therefore, it MUST be a bad thing.

So what do stock investors do? If I wasn’t 20% oils already, I’d buy more at these prices.

"... a surprising and steep plunge that has analysts arguing over whether this is a good or bad thing."

But these "analysts" and the US Government didn't give a damn about how the unnatural, ultrahigh price of fuel affected the American family budget.

When the energy sector has been the only real private enterprise stimulator of the bogus economy of this nation, this is more bad news than good news. We can only hope that forecasts are correct that production will continue to grow... but rig counts are already reducing here.

Be ready for whatever happens... at least you will have a tank full of cheap gasoline... for what that is worth... maybe to drive to the Social Security office, or to pick up your new EBT card or your free healthcare... or to change your voter registration to the Uniparty.

Not quite: they always want one thing and one thing alone and that is to hurt America. Period. They do not care about people driving, or the Earth, or green issues. Period. If going green was good for America THEY WOULD HATE IT. They want to go green because it hurts America and makes us look like the rest of the impoverished world. If more people in cars hurt America, they would want that too.

I paid $2.19-9 last night, topped up the tank. Previous top-up was around 15-20 cents a gallon higher, and before that, perhaps 10-15 higher.

You are getting cheap gas while OPEC is killing the American Bakken Oil Fields...and other American oil/gas producing entities...........hurting OPEC is a NoNo.

Americans who are invested in energy, have jobs, and paying Federal & state Income Taxes...are being badly hurt...try to enjoy a little less this cheap energy...the pendulum will swing back once American Energy's back is broken.

Damn right, instead it was all about limiting our ability to produce and refine.

As for my family, we use about 45 gallons a week between a full size truck and a minivan. Right now gas is about $1 less per gallon - so that’s about an extra $180/month ($2,160 year) in our pocket.

“The liberal media JUST WILL NOT STOP with this f’ing crap”

Of course they won’t.

This threatens the Crony Democrat Green Agenda, and the BILLIONS of dollars it recycles into Democrat issues groups and campaigns.

That is why the libs in Media are suddenly saying “This is the time for new energy taxes!!”

And these people cared, or had any sympathy when it was costing me a huge amount just to GET TO MY JOB?

Screw that.

I doubt one single worker in the Bakken fields wasted one second worrying that I was paying $150 more a month to get to and do my job. My family got screwed and we go whining.

Show me one damned post sympathetic to us poor SOBS in California in any thread about how @#$@# great these high prices have been for the energy industry.

Hoping for $10 a barrel.

“so that’s about an extra $180/month ($2,160 year) in our pocket.”

For the annual Christmas trip to Florida in the RV, my cost will be HALF of what it was last year, leaving money for more gifts, eating out, movies, etc.

Unfortunately, we are a CONSUMER-driven economy, thanks to the 30 years of liberal-caused destruction of our manufacturing base.

or perhaps a gift from the market where the various variables of supply and demand have combined to bring a bout a price reduction

Latest word is world war III just broke out in the financial world. The drop in oil prices also occurred with massive US short positions against the ruble. So the ruble was dropping like a rock, Russia fired back by jacking up interest rates with a shocking jump. That was causing a collapse of US short positions. So all trade in ruble/dollars had to be halted in the US. They are now forcing the long ruble traders to eat losses to cover the shorts.
