It’s going to come down to money. The only way to keep Bush off the ballot is to defeat him in the primary and that’s going up against the establishment’s money.

Establishment/self-funded money goes only so far. Ask Eric Cantor, Michael Huffungton, Carly Fiorina, Linda McMahon, Dewhurst, Mike Castle, etc.

Jeb Bush may be able to pull the rug out from under the Democrats who assume that the millions of Hispanics with whom they are packing the U.S. voting booths will vote Democrat for the next 200 years, to paraphrase the repulsive Democrat Lyndon Johnson.

Of course, if Jeb's should be a presidency similar to that of his brother, it wouldn't make any difference as far as the welfare of the American people or the United States is concerned.

Jeb is probably smarter than George W., but that's a double edged sword. The consequence of another Bush Presidency depends upon how committed to American Decadence that particular Bush is. Recent evidence is not encouraging.

Remember the Thad Cochran primary scandal. The GOPe will have to buy a lot of Black Democrat votes for Jeb in South Carolina to win that early primary in “the South.”

And Cruz is reportedly doing everything he can to cuddle up to the money men.

I realize money is a prerequisite, but I've often wondered if a conservative candidate could eschew all large contributions and crowd-source his campaign financing to the base.

I’m sure Haley Boss Hog Barbour and his race baiting gang of Mississippi Republicans are ready and willing to go prime time and nation wide to trash conservatives for the GOPE. I really look for the GOPE to behave far worse in 2016 than any democrat ever dreamed of in trashing conservatives.

The only way I see any GOPE liberal nominee winning in a general election is a total economic collapse before the election, otherwise we get another Bush41, Dole, McInsain, Romulan style ass kicking and the GOPE will thank the democrats for it afterwards to keep the conservatives out of power.
