Folks, at the same site I came across a video by a woman who calls herself Honestly Speaking.
One video led to others, and this is what I found.
She is a Black woman who says it like it is. She talks using the vulgarity of the Black sub-culture. She also focuses on the exact problems of the Black sub-culture.
I will say that there are some parts of her comments about slavery I feel somewhat uncomfortable with, although she may be right. I’m not convinced it would have been as easy as she thinks to rebel against slave masters.
If you can get beyond the language (and folks it is extreme at times), you will hear the absolute truth spoken by a Black woman. You may be surprised to find yourself appreciating what this woman has to say, and realize she just may be the hope for the future of Blacks.
One last warning..., the language in these presentations will be extremely offensive to some of you. Please be advised. This is not for everyone. It is worth hearing IMO, or I wouldn’t have linked it here.
Remember one thing here. This woman is speaking to the Black sub-culture on the streets. This is the language they use each day. If she is going to connect with them, she needs to talk to them on their level.
