Truer than you think. Let this “movement” go further and succeed, then as the price of food at Mickey D’s goes through the roof, those “living wage” jobs will vanish like a snow flake in a heat wave.
There are more and more places already that can feed their customers BETTER food at McDonald prices.
And a question she should consider....Is there any where else within commuting distance where she could get that mythical job that pays $15.00 per hour. Is she even qualified and/or able to hold down a $15.00 per hour job???
I think I know the answer to that one.

McDonald’s is already screwed (at the lower wage levels); I’ve noticed a lot less customers there over the past couple of years, and the stock price seems to bear this out. The food is too expensive, and people that loved it as teens can barely stomach it 20 years later. Today’s teens are more likely to eat tacos than Big Macs...

Indeed. We have a local family-owned Chinese takeout joint where three delicious cartons of various chicken and vegetable dishes (plus rice, egg rolls, etc.) costs $28.00 with tax. We get at least five person meals from that, at a cost $5.60 each.

Wholesome and healthy and cheaper than a crappola garbage combo meal from McD`s.
