Officer Bron Cruz, who was described as non-white, shot Taylor once in the chest and once in the stomach after he refused to obey police.

"Refusing to obey police" is not a justification for summary execution, and there is no way it used to be expressed as such by the media. Self-defense is the ONLY allowable reason.

[Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim] Gill acknowledged that while such earphones were found on Taylor, the investigation was inconclusive as to whether they were in his ears at the time of the shooting.

Wonder if they found Eric Garner's "loosies" with the earphones, since we didn't hear anything more about them after they offed Garner? LOL! :)
