I agree. Which is why I do not think Cruz will be the nominee. Conservatives may love Cruz...but the power brokers do NOT love Cruz.

I also think Senator Cruz is going to need more time to win over the American public ... as the MSM is not going to portray Cruz in a positive light. Cruz will have to find some way of getting his message out ... beyond the FNS audience.

If Cruz continues to concentrate on those things that are important to Americans, he has great chance. None of the other parties GOPe or Dem. want to do that at all. JEB not withstanding, they will all run from talking about amnesty, jobs, taxes, Obamacare and getting govt. out our your business.

If the GOPe talks about those things at all, they will lie. He should continue to call them out on their lies.

Do you think that “the powers that be” will become concerned with the Constitution's standards for a President in that he has to be a “natural born citizen”? Ted was born in Canada; held dual citizenship until a couple of years ago; mother was an American; father was a Cuban, becoming a naturalized citizen in about 2005. His name is being bandied about as a candidate, he's collecting money, but I can just see the NY Times, et. al., at the last minute becoming enraged, shocked, etc. that someone not born in America is about to become president.
