Barack & Michelle Obama: We’re Victims of America’s Racism …Update: Michelle Obama Busted

This discussion was necessary after the grand jury decisions on Michael Brown and Eric Garner that had nothing to do with racism. People reported:

The protective bubble that comes with the presidency – the armored limo, the Secret Service detail, the White House – shields Barack and Michelle Obama from a lot of unpleasantness. But their encounters with racial prejudice aren’t as far in the past as one might expect. And they obviously still sting.

“I think people forget that we’ve lived in the White House for six years,” the first lady told PEOPLE, laughing wryly, along with her husband, at the assumption that the first family has been largely insulated from coming face-to-face with racism.

“Before that, Barack Obama was a black man that lived on the South Side of Chicago, who had his share of troubles catching cabs,” Mrs. Obama said in the Dec. 10 interview appearing in the new issue of PEOPLE.

“I tell this story – I mean, even as the first lady – during that wonderfully publicized trip I took to Target, not highly disguised, the only person who came up to me in the store was a woman who asked me to help her take something off a shelf. Because she didn’t see me as the first lady, she saw me as someone who could help her. Those kinds of things happen in life. So it isn’t anything new.”

In a 30-minute conversation, the president and Mrs. Obama candidly added their stories to the national discussion of race and racial profiling that was sparked by the deaths of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and Eric Garner in Staten Island, New York.

Oh holy hell, you freaking wench. I have helped people small or elderly in a grocery store reach things 1000 times. I have asked strangers — tall strangers -— if they could reach something for ME. Where I live, people in the helping professions aren’t automatically black, like in the racist enclaves you seem to frequent. Also, if you didn’t have a freaking red shirt on, the woman did not think you were an employee. She saw a very tall woman, that is all, bitch.

I was in Tucson at a 5 star resort - dressed somewhat like a valet, and some black guy handed me the keys to his Escalade and asked me to park it thinking I was a valet. Since I was leaving anyway, I graciously accepted his keys, slid into the drivers seat and took the car to Las Vegas instead of the bus. He was kind enough to leave a full tank.

I read her account and started laughing...she's trying to equate her height with race. What an idiot.

Ha! I'm a 6 ft tall female and I've been asked or I've offered many times to assist an elderly person retrieve an item off the top shelf at Walmart or the grocery store.

Geez, I feel so discriminated against because I'm white and tall...oh the humanity!(/sarc)

It’s not just Michelle Obama busted here; it’s a big part of the whole racial grievance paradigm that’s exposed. “It happened to me because I’m black.” No, it happened because that’s life.

I ca’t recall where it was posted, Townhall perhaps, but there was a very interesting article about how the progressives don’t really know what truth is. They basically live in a fantasy world and their words are essentially stories they make up to match their version of reality.

This story of Michelle’s is a case in point.
