Victoria is about as much a suburb of Houston as Moline is a suburb of Chicago. It’s about a 2 1/2 hour drive down US 59.

Not the way to treat people, especially someone old enough to be his Grandad. Some older folks are physically pretty tough, while others may fall easily and break a bone, which can effect them negatively for the rest of their lives.
Maybe there should be a Boxing or Karate Club for Police, who need to get rid of the excess energy.

Guilty!
He did not show the proper respect to the authority.

And the hits just keep on coming!:
Vasquez was driving a vehicle owned by the car dealership where he works. Officer Robinson pulled him over when he noticed the vehicles inspection sticker had expired. When Vasquez exited the car and attempted to show Robinson the dealer plates which wouldve exempted the necessity for up to date inspection tags thats when the altercation happened.
When are these peasants going to learn that there's BAD consequences for "refusing to obey police"?
Even if the polices are wrong. "He feared for his authority".
LOL! :)

The incident occurred in Victoria, Texas, a suburb of Houston. That's like calling Laramie, Wyo. a suburb of Denver.

That was BS. Maybe if that cop turned off his gangbanger rap he wouldn't be so wound up. /s
Good on the bystander in the black cap who told the cop off and stayed around to tell his side of the story.

but both of them are in fly-over country and from 37,000 feet they look like they are right next door to each other.

A Victoria police officer is under investigation after a 76-year-old man accused him of using excessive force during a traffic stop. The officer, Nathanial Robinson, 23, was placed on administrative duty Friday pending the outcome of an internal investigation into whether he violated the use of force policy when he tased Victoria resident Pete Vasquez, said Chief J.J. Craig. The officer was hired after graduating from the police academy two years ago.
23 year old kid with only 2 years on the force. Go figure.

Those in Texas better be polite and obey and comply to those in government.
This video make that inordinately clear.
