Satanist And Christian Holiday Displays To Go Up At Michigan Capitol DECEMBER 17, 2014 BILL CHAPPELL
During the Christmas season, Michigan's Capitol Building in Lansing will host two holiday displays: a traditional Christian Nativity, and an exhibit by the Satanic Temple.
Two very different holiday displays will share the grounds of the Michigan State Capitol next week: a traditional Christian Nativity and an exhibit by the Satanic Temple. The situation has brought controversy — and energized Christians who realized that a planned Nativity was in danger of being canceled.
The story drew intense attention after it emerged that there was a chance the Capitol grounds might host only a Satanic holiday display during the Christmas season, because plans for a Christian display didn't take into account Michigan's rules.
The Detroit chapter of the Satanic Temple had sought to put up its exhibit as a message about religious freedom and inclusiveness, as a counterweight to the Christian Nativity (the group is putting up a similar display at Florida's Capitol rotunda).

I think it’s time for some Christians to study and find out when the Satanists celebrate their ‘feast days’, then find out if they put up any icons or displays visible to the public. We can then scamper over and INSIST that our Icons are prominently displayed too!! Two can play this game of ‘wet blankets’. There are certain hard rock groups that specialize in this sort of theater. Nothing that attracts me, but it does exist. Such Satan Rockers are very popular in Europe, go figure.
Let the Satanists exhibit.

How did we get to this point? Blame liberal Supreme Court judges who endorsed the liberal policies of the ACLU and People for the American Way, NARAL and Planned Parenthood.
Have the size and or time of display commensurate with the respective percent of followers in the State.
That would be fair.
Satanists claim they do not worship the devil, instead they worship the concept of do what you feel like without restriction and that is what Satan stands for. However if that is the case they have no need for rituals, symbols, ceremonies, etc. Those close to Anton Levey said he did in fact worship Satan aka Lucifer as his god and master.

I see no contradiction. Look at these insane multiple killings that we see, such as in Montgomery County Pa. most recently. It was nothing but Self-indulgence ... a primal expression of the self against all felt insults, even at the cost of the extinction of the self.
You beat me to it...if there is no “feast day” or holiday for satanism...then they should not be allowed to place their display
