I read the British press almost every day. Several years ago I read that the much beloved Matthew Crawley, husband of Lady Mary, and father of their newborn child, was killed off in the Christmas Day season finale broadcast of “Downton Abbey.”
The “Downton” fans in the UK went ballistic. The series doesn't broadcast in the USA until January.
I'm thinking this a HUGE amazing news scoop, and I post the article on Free Republic.
Wow! What a HUGE mistake! I got like fifty violently angry comments from USA fans of the show.
People at FR can be very tolerant about political differences. But don't mess with their TV shows!
ROFL!!! Oh boy, sorry I ruined the surprise for you on SOA. My oldest son (18, going for a career in Law Enforcement in college next fall) got me hooked on the show and I binge watched the first six seasons in about two weeks. I'd thought you'd given up the surprise for the new season. My bad, so sorry! :-)
