Missouri bill would require father's permission for a woman to get an abortion

I have been in front of abortion clinics where the father is driving his daughter to the appointment. I nearly got attacked by one father who was spitting mad at the thought that he could not take his daughter inside for the procedure without being accosted by somebody else’s conscience.

And this is why abortion will always remain legal. There's a lot of so-called "pro-life" parents out there talking the talk, waving the signs, "Abortion Stops a Beating Heart" bumper stickers on their cars and whatnot who know deep in their hearts, if it were their 14-year old little princess who got knocked up, they'd be driving straight to the nearest Planned Parenthood clinic and thanking their lucky stars it was open for business.

FWIW though, this article isn't about daughters getting permission from their fathers to get an abortion, it's about women getting permission from the father of their baby to get an abortion.

This bill will go nowhere.

According to Brattin she would have to file a police report and prove she was raped. Not sure how she'll be expected to do that.

If she would just say that it was Cosby that raped her, that would be proof. (/s)
