What would be racist is if a normal short person would be afraid to ask a tall person to help them get something off the shelf because they're black. Imagine that....there's a tall white person and a tall black person nearby, and you ask the tall white person if they'd help because you don't dare ask the black person. That's what would be racist...according to Michelle, justified.
It's just normal courtesy and interaction when shopping. Maybe the logical conclusion of Michelle's paranoia about her race is she shouldn't shop where there are white people.

What you see with many blacks these days is a deep ceded but ultra secret inferiority complex simply because of the color of their skin. The fact that it even manifests itself in the first ‘lady’ is quite telling and very sad.
