I was basically done with Bond films after Sean Connery. Especially after Roger Moore turned them into light comedies.

I agree with you...Bond is a white British guy...Read Fleming's novels. M being a woman...OK...Moneypenny being a black woman...OK...But, James Bond cannot be anyone other than a white male. There should be absolutely no compromise on that one. If Sony is foolish to go ahead with "black 007" idea, then I will not spend money going to the theater for a Bond film.
