Hundreds of protesters against police violence shut down part of the Mall of America in Minnesota on Saturday, during the final weekend before Christmas as shoppers scrambled to buy gifts at one of the nation's largest shopping centers, a community group member said.

Demonstrators at the Mall of America shouted "Hands up, don't shoot!", referring to the fatal police shooting of Michael Brown in Missouri, and "Black people can't breathe, while we're on our shopping sprees," referring to the chokehold death of Eric Garner in New York.

Police made 12 arrests in the demonstration on private property at the Mall of America in the Minneapolis suburb of Bloomington, said Bloomington police spokesman Mark Stehlik.

Lots of questions
Re photo; For MM: Where did you find those hats ?
For US House members or conservative media :
Well organized.Where did the money come from ? Which bus lines were chartered ? Through which fed agency indirectly funded this? Mostly white college types from what college ? From which prof classes? Some muzzies. From what congregation?

You mean they’re not praising Jesus with their hands lifted up?

Remembering my college years just south of there, they should take care of any jail space problem the way Sheriff Joe does, with tent jails. He never runs out of room. And a few days in such in Minnesota at this time of the year would have a desirable effect on future protests. The Somali's would really enjoy it. And keeping all 1500 of them there through New Year's would probably give Mpls it's lowest crime rate for that period in years. Alas there probably isn't a local politician at their city, county, or state level that would do it nor a judge that would let them. But I bet it would poll great!

They are not protestors; they are terrorists and thugs who should be dealt with by use of force.

I don’t use malls anymore. I’ve seen several malls in to area go from being nice places, to resemble Detroit.

I either use local merchants, or shop online.

I bet the mall owners and the stores really like this commie trash disrupting things at Christmas. I’m surprised they didn’t crack a few of the solid heads out there.

This is Minnesota after all. The mall’s Third World denizens and Franken-voting white retail employees are likely on the side of the protesters. Their pay won’t change, and if they lose their jobs they’ll just blame it on greedy corporations.
