I referred to them.

Here is info (although from a not trustworthy source)

A columnist from a newspaper Turkiye, with obvious allusion to Moscow, concludes that the murder of the criminal boss in Russia and his links with the PKK, pose new questions in light of worsening the Kurdish problem and terrorism in Turkey.

It is to be mentioned that without knowledge and assistance from the Russian KGB, “Grandpa Hassan” could not supply weapons to the Kurdish group, which is funded and armed by Moscow since the days of the Soviet Union, and Ankara is well aware of this.

The information that all influential leaders of Russia’s criminal underworld cooperate with the secret police has long been an open secret.http://www.kavkazcenter.com/eng/content/2013/01/21/17285.shtml

I have no doubt that there are decent Kurds just wanting to work hard to make a buck and take care of their families. My problem is how they might be used if we get into bed with them as a whole given the long history of ties to Russia and communo-fascist ideology in that area.

Thanks for the info. -CO
