Are you serious? I've been waiting for someone to call these people out. They should arrest all these race baiters.

DiBlasio actually said "union leadership doesn't speak for the rank and file"....

these are the words of a leftist in meltdown.

"there was "blood on many hands," including ... people who have recently protested against police violence."

Is there no legitimate protest against police violence?

Is there no legitimate protest against police violence?

Please rephrase: Is there no protest against legitimate police violence?

Don’t get confused..................................

Is there no legitimate protest against police violence?...Yes. A jury by their peers, which happens quite often, when probable cause is established.

I’m not confused. I used a quote from the article.

Don’t you go twisting content to fit your prejudices.

The properly outraged “NY Police Union Head” mistakenly suggested that any protest against any police violence.

That’s and understandable overstatement of what is occurring.

Folks can protest what they perceive as illegitimate / excessive police use of force. That issue will / can / should be argued in public. We cannot be saying that police use of force is an untouchable subject for debate, and the cops are always in the right.

Protest oughtn’t turn into any suggestion of or incitement to murder.

We can have both a full public airing of opinion about police behavior without condoning murder of cops.

Unless someone is suggesting that the First Amendment is suspended when it comes to the behavior of the police.

Are you?

Correcting the sentence:

The properly outraged “NY Police Union Head” mistakenly suggested that any protest against any police violence caused murder.

Everyone seems happy to take this horrible situation as an opportunity to grind their pre-designed political axes rather than to place blame where it does squarely belong: On the perpetrator.

The Perp was a long-time criminal, muslim convert and crazy guy.

When people exercise their First Amendment rights, they are not responsible when a criminal muslim nut uses that Bill Of Rights protected discussion as the last straw in his personal mission to self destruct.

How about we blame criminality, islam and mental illness first?

“Ever since Obama gratuitously injected himself into a minor event in Cambridge, MA, he has shown himself to be an anti-police racist. Ditto Holder”

Just part of Cloward-Pivan, inciting unrest to add to the chaos. Just wait until the invaders are amnesties and Hispanic mobs will be encouraged.

It will get even uglier.

Ironic how you say that it was stupid when my response was to take LeoWindhorse’s comments (post #2) and reply to it (in post #6 and #8) replying as to where his reasoning led to.

Later on, my post in post #43 was the culmination of these posts -— if you go with Leo’s comment it leads down the wrong path, and that the path to travel is to blame NEITHER De Blasio NOR the cop involved with Garner.

As I told Reddy, do you too now understand that neither De Blasio nor the cop involved with Garner incited anything?

I’ll add to this: Why can’t Pat Lynch say something along these lines?

Your use of Ad Hominem is typical of a liberal.

If you are a conservative you will not just lob Ad Hominem (personal attacks) against others. Conservatives don’t use Ad Hominem.

Stop using Ad Hominem against others here “your Sharpton propaganda” and then you will stop being a liberal.

You are positing that it is either Law and Order or chaos and that there is nothing possible in between.

There was no reason why a ticket couldn’t have been given, since if he had been in trouble with law enforcement many times over selling loosies, they obviously knew where he lived.

More than one conservative radio talker found it ironic that someone caught with a little marijuana would probably have been treated differently.

“An ad hominem (Latin for “to the man” or “to the person”[1]), short for argumentum ad hominem, means responding to arguments by attacking a person’s character, rather than to the content of their arguments.”

“Your Sharpton propaganda” WAS describing the content of your argument. If I had given in to the urge to call you a moron, than THAT would have been an ad hominem.

You’re welcome.

Thank you Tanzee, I was looking up ad hominem thinking that maybe a new definition had been invented.

I think all these attacks on Laissez-faire capitalist’s silly theory has confused her a bit and she’s firing at anything that moves.

Lynch stated that those responsible would be held accountable........maybe he plans on going after the Sharpton’s and such. Not sure what can be done (if anything) from a legal standpoint.

How Al Sharpton (an Ebonics-talkin' race hustler) Got His MSNBC Gig EXCERPT ..... in 2009, NBC was part of the General Electric family of companies. GE decided to sell a controlling stake in NBC Universal to cable giant Comcast. What stood in the way of that goal, according to the article in Washingtonian, was Washington itself — regulators and lawmakers who would have to be convinced that this move would not stifle competition.

(Money exchanged hands among pols, w/ Sharpton greasing the way.) In January, 2011, Washington approved the deal. And lo and behold, Al Sharpton — who had virtually no professional broadcast experience but did have a long history of legal entanglements and ethical quandaries — landed a prime-time show on MSNBC. Fox's Melissa Frances reported on The Kelly File that Al Sharpton not only hosts an MSNBC show, but that:

<><> MSNBC Corporate finances Sharpton's Ntl Action Network (NAN);

<><>Comcast is also one of Sharpton's financial backers

<><> MSNBC AND COMCAST are reportedly negotiating to buy Sharpton's NAN network.
