I agree we can get ahead of the plan in how we see things....but I do believe we’re seeing the stage getting set...of that there is no doubt.
Also, God can slow the pace down any time he chooses...we’ve seen that before when things have seemed to be moving quickly.
I think if you consider how Israel was “walled” in the old testament and what she is today..there’s a huge difference.
Also Israel “thinking it’s safe”.......is one thing...being safe is another. Israel will not know real peace until He comes....but there has been times of peace in the past. Though we know there will be a 7yr peace agreement ahead.
Truly there isn’t anyway we can know exactly....yet we are told to “watch”. For our redemption draws nigh”.

It's not surprising the Soviet state engineers knew that demoralizing their enemy would give them a strategic advantage.
