Slavery was the most catastrophic mistake this country could have ever made. Bringing Africans to these shores was a disaster we will never overcome and it may destroy us yet.

And thus will we pay for the sins of our fathers (although MY fathers had nothing to do with it, as none of my ancestors set foot in this county before the late 1800's).

Maybe so, but it allowed me to grow up in the land of the free and would not trade it for anywhere else, sorry gents I wish there was something I can do but I do not have the power to stop it I just hope they get their crap together in the years to come, however I await with bated breath.

P.S. no one should be blamed for back then, thus I do not believe in any form collective guilt.
