Ever since "Bridge-gate" threatened to derail the once "inevitable" nomination of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie as the Republican presidential candidate for 2016, Jeb Bush has been hinting that he might jump into the fray.
And with last week's Facebook announcement, the former Florida governor has emerged as a serious contender -- if he chooses to run.
The announcement of an exploratory committee has generated instant excitement because many Republicans feel that the former governor stands a very real chance of winning both the Republican nomination and the general election. Though the pundits have pored over all of his liabilities, most importantly the damage that his younger brother inflicted on the family name, Jeb Bush brings a lot to the table for 2016.
If he handles this process the right way, Bush has the opportunity to put together a strong campaign. Democrats and his Republican opponents should be worried.

Yes, Jeb could win if the Democrats nominate him. But I don’t see how that will happen.

“Did you know that write in votes aren’t even counted in many if not most cases? If you want that vote counted, go with a third party candidate that’s on the ballot.”
No I didn’t... Thanks for the info. I’ll have to check how that’s handled in Texas.
Bush 1 convinced me well before election day that he did not want the job. I kept thinking he was waiting for the right moment to unload all the material he had and actually attack. That moment never came. He was elected because the voters saw Reagan when they regarded him. In 4 years he convinced the voters that he was not Reagan. Bush 2 also did not seem to be trying very hard. He didn't actually throw the election in the manner of Dole and McCain because, well his daddy had done it and he felt he had to accept the job if it got thrust into his hands. He didn't run as if he actually wanted to win the second time, either.
Jeb Bush murdered Terri Schiavo.
Since 1980, the winning Republican ticket has always had a Bush on the ticket. That’s why the GOPe sees Jebby as their salvation.
Jeb Bush as president will get all the things done that Obama will have left undone. He will have less opposition and will be even more successful. Republicans are no longer any alternative to Democrats except as to the faces that will be shredding the Constitution and getting rich from the corruption perks of office.
This article is nothing more than the left telling the right who to run so that they left can win the next election.
Falls under the category "Never take advice from your enemy."
It will be the end of the GOP if Jeb gets the nomination.
You should try to understand how FR works before taking cheap personal shots at people who post news articles for discussion.
There were 7 write in slots that received write in votes in the 2012 General in Texaz.
I’m not sure but I do think there are some requirements they must meet.

He's their boy only until he locks up the nomination. Then they suddenly discover that Jeb isn't quite as good as the Rat nominee.
