Ooooohhhh — scary!!!
King Obama and his Administration have told so many serious lies that I'm with you. King Obama is a communists BLACK Muslim traitor and they lie like hell. His whole world is built around lie after lie.
The studios were worried that they would lose Germany as a foreign market for their films.
The film did get released (1940 but not without challenge and corporate politics.
What's crazy is that Paramount has prohibited theaters from screening Team America in place of The Interview.
LOOK AT THE HEAD on this fat little Maowannabe...

I’d be pissed all the time too, with THAT hair!!!!
One of his Comrades should tell him “Conditioner, Man! Use some CONDITIONER!!!!”
Me thinks the NSA discovered Sony’s systemic racism in their emails and otherwise, and Obama, Jeh Johnson, Eric Holder sought to expose it publicly. Someone said “I know, we’ll out them and blame NK for the hack!”. This is plausible, no? I don’t think NK hacked Sony. They’ve got bigger fish to fry.
But they DID release it, is the point.
Wow, I know the environmental kooks would be proud of North Korea for not using electricity. Some loser at Greenpeace or Friends of the Earth probably has seen that picture and has seriously debated rewarding Kim Jong- Lunatic an environmental award.
Released in 1940....for 1941....it was the 2nd most popular movie for the entire year. When you take into account the vast listing of four-star movies for this one single year....it was up against some massive competition. Remember, it opened the door in 1942 for Casablanca to be a cheap dime-novel story that blasted away at all competition and is still one of the dozen best movies ever made.
We could bomb them back to the stone age, but they’re already there.
He went into production in 1938. There was opposition from the get go.
Here’s a recent article on the matter.

I LOVE “Casablanca”. One of the greatest films of all time.
Another good one is “This Land is Mine” with Charles Laughton and Maureen O’Hara.

Catch it on TCM when it comes on. It’s worth the watch.
Be careful. They might beat us to death with the medals.
Wouldn't that be - profiling? Maybe even a little rasiss?
I just vely ronery...............and my hail cut sucks too!
I hear you, friend.
The point is, it did get released. It didn’t get pulled, cancelled, etc.
There was more spine then. Germany already proved they were the aggressors.
My old man was Airborne in WWII. He said the country knew it was just a matter of time before we got involved.
Dictators are the same no matter what time period they’re in - they can’t stand being ridiculed.
The DIFFERENCE is the will of ordinary people - to either stand up and give the guy the middle finger, or lay back and enjoy being raped.
With Odungo in office, expect the U.S. to respond to an attack by NK like he did in Benghazi.
A little Brylcream wil solve that...
Wait... make that - a LOT - of Brylcream will solve that...
lol...okay, let me get this straight. If Sony were to show the film the NORK’s would attack. Now Sony won’t show the film and its said that decision was based on NORK hacking so the NORK’s are gonna attack.
Sounds to me like we have someone new and ronery who needs a couple billion bucks to get over that roneriess.
SSDD with that country.
” A little Brylcream wil solve that...”
A little (massive glob) “ll do ya!
A few years ago, the US tried to blame Benghazi on a film. Of course countries are going to wonder about films that insult them and might encourage chaos. Our administration did.
This is a real-life MOUSE THAT ROARED. We've truly lost our way if this is more important than just about anything else that's going on in the world.
