N Korea threatens attacks on USA after being blamed for Sony hacking

North Korea has warned of strikes against key sites in the US in retaliation for Washington blaming Pyongyang for the recent Sony cyber attack, saying any US punishment over the incident would lead to damage “thousands of times greater”.

Late on Sunday North Korea’s National Defence Commission said President Barack Obama was “recklessly” spreading rumours that Pyongyang was behind the cyber attack. Sony has pulled The Interview , a satirical film depicting the assassination of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, after the hacking and subsequent threats of terrorist attacks against cinemas that screened it.

The NDC said its 1.2m-member army was ready to use all types of warfare against the US. “Our toughest counteraction will be boldly taken against the White House, the Pentagon, and the whole US mainland, the cesspool of terrorism, by far surpassing the ‘symmetric counteraction’ declared by Obama,” said the NDC statement, carried by official news agency KCNA.

Pyongyang has routinely made similar threats against South Korea and the US during times of confrontation, but the latest hostile rhetoric against Washington underlines Pyongyang’s anger over the movie.

The threat comes as US officials are scrambling to come up with ways to retaliate after the FBI announced on Friday that it believed North Korea was behind the cyber attack against Sony, and warned that it would impose “costs and consequences” on those responsible.

I absolutely did have that toy machine gun. Had batteries that moved and lit up the “muzzle flash”. Awesome metallic banging sound that was sort of like gunfire if you really didn’t know what gunfire sounded like or, like me, didn’t care. BANGBANGBANGBANG! EAT HOT LEAD, NAZI PIGS!!!

“...EAT HOT LEAD,...”

Haha! My neighborhood rang out with those “battle cries” when we were little.

Having a father who was WWII Airborne in Europe, and Marine uncles in the Pacific, that was what I grew up around.

Hell, the VERY first rifle I ever fired was my Uncle’s M1 Garand (I was about 11).

Talk about awesome-ness!!!!

Yes... it’s as accurate as the man behind the trigger.

I took Thomas Jefferson’s Advice when he said “Let your Glock be your constant companion...”

He meant “gun”... but he said “Glock”...’s true... Look it up... promise...

:^)

It’s interesting for me that I stink with certain handguns, and do well with others. We all be diff-rint.

Yeah, true enough; different ergonomics on different handguns can affect your shooting.

Had a SA XD-9 that I was ALL over the map with. Traded it for a Glock 17, and that’s a tack driver, like my G19. Sat in my hand weird, and just never felt “right”.

Had a Beretta C92 for a while, but it never fit my hand too well, so I got rid of it.

Also shoot the G21 and M1911A1 pretty well too. Both strong and weak hand.

It’s all good stuff, though... depends on what “fits” you.

3 Stooges had a couple of programs making fun of Hitler>

Wish I could link it but I can't figure out how. All of my "go to" thingies for handling links, etc. are in GERMAN!

I am SERIOUS. I was puttering around with the Internet and our Internet provider. Some things got fixed BUT important things, like TOOLBAR are all in GERMAN!

Any body out here got help for a sister...to get my ENGLISH back - I'm on MAC.

But, I do remember Stooges NAZI episode just don't remember year or info because everything telling me that is in GERMAN!

I would have sworn he said 1911-45 but it could have been the plates in my head banging together? Sometimes there’s an echo in here.
