We need to resume financial sanctions against N. Korea, plus start even more board and search efforts on ships trading with N. Korea to prevent arms arms and contraband entering by sea. Make it go thru China.

Indeed. Problem is, we have no end game objective. That is why the State Department always fails. It is not structured for solutions, just perpetuation of the status quo.

In the case of North Korea, the status quo is not acceptable to the civilized world. But our current administration and the State Department love Communist dictators. And the State Department loves the status quo.

So, we should only resume sanctions when our objective is to topple North Korea. That means a different administration which will aggressive pursue that objective and rein in the State Department.
