Assassinations? Blame Obama and Holder
Townhall.com ^ | December 23, 2014 | John Ransom

There, I said it. At least in the headline, I said it.

Not convinced?

Fine, I’ll say it again: I blame Eric Holder and Barack Obama for the assassinations of officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu.

And I blame New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio.

And Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and Elizabeth Warren and the whole rotten Democrat Party that uses and abuses race, ethnicity and gender to hide their own shortcomings.

A free society has many shortcomings but it also has the remedies to fix them if we’d be patient.

But what can we expect when our president and the highest law enforcement officer of the land—along with the party that nurtures them-- routinely sides with criminals over the rest of us?

One would think that just out of a sense of self-preservation and common sense Holder and Obama would see that their grandstanding on Ferguson, on Sanford and on issues of race, ethnicity and gender would never end well.

For Ramos and Liu it had the worst of all possible endings. Unless the officers who were killed were “white” Hispanic and “white” Asian, then I would say that police of “color” have more to fear than anyone. `

Sitting in a car, wearing a uniform, that’s what they got shot for.
It wasn’t the color of their skin, but the color of their clothes that got them shot.

“The shooting occurred around 2:45 p.m. as officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu sat in their patrol vehicle keeping watch over the Tompkins Houses,” reports the Wall Street Journal, “as part of a crime-reduction effort launched in May following an uptick in shootings at city housing projects, particularly those in Brooklyn, police said.”

They got shot protecting the very people the president says the police don’t care about.

I blame Eric Holder and Barack Obama.

After all the noise about Tea Party violence, which never happened, you knew, you just knew that liberals would finally kill a cop( or cops) out of the Ferguson affair and other racial lies they tell.

It’s just karma, to use a favorite liberal word.

Conservatives would say this instead: You will know them by their fruits.

As rotten as they are.

Here’s the most troubling thing about Holder and Obama—the whole liberal-progressive complex, but those two especially—is that they lack the capacity for self-examination and growth. They lack the ability to reflect upon mistakes and take ownership for them.

And in this way, Obama’s presidency makes a lot of sense.

Successful people generally have the capacity to make adjustments to their thinking along the way; to deal with reality as it is, not as one would have it be.

A case in point is the blue-ribbon, crony style panel that is supposed to improve relations between cops and populations of “color” that Obama just announced.

And if you didn’t see THAT coming, then you’re colorblind.

The committee is a stacked deck of mostly professionals who make their living dealing with issues of race for liberals to pander on. It’s just another attempt to community organize, with an end result that winds up with votes for Democrats.

Instead of making real progress on real issues of race—like unemployment, health, poverty, education, divorce and the single biggest marker for poverty, single motherhood—Obama and Holder go for the cheap vote.

Uniquely in history these two black men had the opportunity to change the tenor, to change the dialogue on race in this country.

And they have.

For this, and other sins, I blame them.

Oh, I blame them. 100%. We are in a world of hurt. And every d@mn day, you wake up and there’s some other horror to deal with due to those two! It’s insane!

I HATE that I sound like someone with Bush/Cheney Derangement Syndrome, LOL!

I will say it over and over and over again. Shame on those who said Romney was as bad as Obama. Romney was about last on my list of nominee choices, but we would not be experiencing this race and anti-police war with him in the White House. Our chief law enforcement officer would not be a black racist. The Muslim Brotherhood would not be running the White House.

Odumbo and his ilk want this divide between law enforcement and their people. They want civil unrest and turmoil as it heightens the need for a complete overhaul of the nations police force. Without the civil unrest, how can he implement Marshall Law and claim his prize as “King”? I see this entire charade as part of his overall plan to change America to his liking. It is NOT pretty and will only create more divide between races. His skills as a community organizer are paying off but in a negative way.

I blame EVERYONE in any position of authority who allowed protestors to illegally block roads, disrupt traffic and assault drivers, loot and destroy, protest without permit, and (as was in the case of Cleveland this weekend) bus in from places like Ferguson to spread their chaos. The assassinations of those NYC police officers should be incomprehensible. The way the rhetoric and violence was enabled by the media and government authorities, it was instead a matter of where and when.

I submit that it would be very foolish not arresting and charging with crimes these out of control thugs and their "enlightened" enablers ASAP.

The Left is already doing all they can to dismiss the idea that the Obama-Holder "Ferguson Initiative" (my term) and the associated rhetoric and demonstrations has any connection to the deaths of these two officers.

When you hear these arguments the questions you should ask yourself or the Dumbo Lib you might be talking to are these:

1. Are the police forces that are on high alert all over the United States just stupid?

2. Can you explain why they are taking special precautions?

3, Would you cancel all of the special efforts that these police are taking to AVOID BEING ASSASSINATED?

Doug from Upland, you can have your Mittens Romney or JEB Bush.
GOP-e Obamas, a rose by any other name would smell as foul.

As shameful as it may seem to you, most of us will stick with conservative candidates, period.
Don’t like it? Too bad.

Since Sharpton is a frequent visitor to the WH, it might be VERY interesting to find out who and how much he was ‘encouraged’ by WH insiders to lead protests against the police.

I would suspect that the police protests were as coordinated as the IRS-Tea Party/Conservatives scandal from high up in the Administration.

Community Organizing in Action.

tumblindice.... I am as conservative as anyone on FR. I love Ted Cruz and would eagerly vote for him for President.

For the life of me I can’t figure out why any consevative would have refused to vote rather than vote for Romney.... especially after having already experienced the first four years of Obama.

Hold your nose, vote for Romney and then re-fight the battle in the next primary.

You reap what you sew. Take a good look at it.

Shame on those fools who pushed RINO Romney
on the GOP (Romney is a cowardly twofaced Democrat)
KNOWING that he felt anointed [by himself]
and would therefore DO NOTHING after taking
out all the conservatives.

Would be nice to see all attending New Years eve in Times Square wear a NYPD cap. Would be a nice statement of support to slain officers, and entire NYPD. Would be seen by millions of people.

I agree.

Romney was worse.

For different reasons, of course, but worse, nonetheless.

Romney and Jeb Bush are not mine to have. I don’t want them.

Catherine and Herbert Schaible had principles to admire. And they stuck to them, believing that prayer alone would save their two children. Of course, by not getting medical treatment, they have two dead children. But they stuck to their principles.

Some refuse to recognize that the country is being killed by Obama. And it is going to get worse. It has only just begun. And we knew what was going to happen all along.

If America dies and you don’t like it, too bad.

Yes, it would, steve7. Yes, it would. Especially for all the work they do keeping that tradition safe.
