Pres. Clinton's Jihad against assault weapons got me to the point that I created the item below and wore it to a gun show in Salt Lake City.

The media was there, running in for a close shot of anyone leaving the show with an AR. I made a point to walk alongside a couple of different guys and the photogs wouldn't come close. Inside, they had a live TV cam looking down the center aisle. Three times I purposely walked toward the camera and saw the red light go out.

None of that crew would make eye contact, expressing, IMO, a hang-dog look. Much to my surprise, I found that some gun dealers did the same. I thought of a Simpsons episode where the kids at a religious school were warned not to look at Bart as "he might change form".

I suggested to GOA and NRA that at gun shows, etc. we all should wear that star. NRA never answered, the GOA guy said it was "a little rough" (at least they answered). I replied that we all better get "a little rough" and at least scare the crap out of some of the antis and get our point across to the public.

Some of you may want to print/cut this out and try it out when the next Jihad begins - or wear it to a City Council meeting that is discussing some gun law. You wouldn't be wrong in saying to the naysayers that you are wearing it in remembrance of a people who were disarmed.
