I just got back from Walmart an hour ago. There was almost nobody in the store. 2 days before Christmas and Walmart is as crowded as any other week day.

Yes, GDP is not an indicator of much of anything anymore.
This number is the result of government spending and of government mandated spending (Obamacare).
Neither is ‘good’ for an economy.
